1491 William Cutt Vicar
approx 1535 Oliver Pyggen Vicar   Date of institute is unknown. Show as Vicar of "Henor" in the Valor Ecclesiasticus of 1535-1536. Shown in parish registers as "1577. Oliver Piggen of Codnor was buried the XIIIJth day of Marche" and later "1578 Elizabeth Piggen, Widow of Codnor, was buried the XXIJth of Septembe"
1547 Richard Arnolde Vicar Robert Cooke de Little Hallam Seems to have managed the transition between the between Edward, Mary and Elizabeth with no major issues. It was during his term that the oldest surviving parish register begins.
1565 Laurence Brookes Vicar The Queen Was apparently unsystematic and careless in keeping the parish registers. The registers note that "Laurence Brookes Viker of Heynor was buried the IIIJth day of Februarie Ano Domini 1591."
For some reason at this point there was a gap between the death of Laurence and the investeture of William
1593 William Asheby Vicar

"Willm Asheby succeeding ye said Laurence Brookes was inducted ye XIJth day of Mai Installed ye XIIJ of ye same moneth Ano. Regni Elizaneth Regine tricessimo quito" (12th May 1593) His son William was baptised 9th October 1599, his daughter Ursula was baptised October 10th 1596 but was buried November 20th 1596.

According to one of the researchers (Rev R.J.Burton) "..Asheby appears, from his entries in the parish registers, to have been a neat, careful, methodical and business like man. His writing is good. He was careful to keep his own registers exact...and to correct, as far as possible, the neglect of his predecessors."

1633 Josias Hawksworth Vicar The King The registers during the incubancy of Josias were very badly neglected.
1650 Samuel Wright Vicar The Parliamentary Commission Appointed by parliamentary commission. Due to his non-conformist beliefs he was ejected at the restoration of the monarchy. From 1650 to 1654 there are not entries in the parish registers.
9th March 1664 James Rathborne Vicar   A very careful and methodical man, he kept the registers in very good order during his term. He noted "That from the year 1634 to 1643 the account of christenings, burialls, and marriaes cannot be found: and that from the year 1643 till 1650 these ensuing notes (though imperfect) were found in loose papers in the hands of John Dale the present clark of this parish, and for the satisfaction of any whom they may concerne are here transcribed and inserted (the first day of Aprill Anno Dm 1669) by me James Rathborne"
Feb 27th 1669 George Westwood Vicar

George himself was in the registers earlier as being baptised in Heanor Aug 11th 1647, Son of Edward and Ellen Westwood. It is believed that he paid for bell number 7, though a careless foundry worker (as proved by the rest of the inscription) put a D instead of G on his first name.

"1677. George Westwood Minister of Heynor and Mary Baker of Allestrey widow were married at Horsley August ye 7th"

Mary was buried at January 18th 1693 and George was buried May 21st 1698, both were buried at Heanor.
